Milestone for accountants
Aberdeen-headquartered accountancy firm Anderson Anderson & Brown (AAB), has secured £1 million of new work for its business advisory team since the start of the year.
The firm said a flurry of new contracts has resulted in this rise in fee income from last year and that it is on target to achieve 20% of the overall AAB group income of £26m for the 2019/20 financial year.
The Business Advisory team includes 50 experts from the virtual finance, specialist cloud accounting, business advisory services and private client tax departments. It was established to develop and streamline a technology driven service to a diverse range of clients.
The team is headed by partner Derek Mitchell, along with fellow partners Chris Masson and Robbie Gordon.
