Local women in Scot squad

Three north rugby players have been called up to the Scotland women’s squad for the Autumn test against Wales tomorrow.

Ellon’s Emma Wassell, Jade Konkel from the Black Isle and Inverness’ Helen Nelson are part of the 23-woman squad for the game at Scotstoun.

Vice-captain Nelson will start at inside centre, with Wassell in the back row and Konkel at number eight.
