Scots face nail-biter
Curl Aberdeen’s Maggie Wilson and her team are clinging on by their fingernails after a heavy defeat at the Red Deer Classic in Alberta.
Two wins out of three edged Eilidh Yeats, Jennifer Marshall, Rebecca Morrison and Wilson closer to a quarter-final spot, but Edmonton’s double world junior champion Kelsey Rocque proved too strong for the Scots.
Rocque soon led 5-0 and completed a 7-1 victory after only five ends. The Scots must now beat another local curler, Melissa Pierce, to stay in the competition.
