HIBERNIAN:ROSSISHANDEDTHE REINSINTOPFLIGHTFORFIRSTTIME
Good luck to Jack Ross in his new job as manager of Hibernian.
He did a superb job at Alloa and St Mirren before earning a big move to England with Sunderland but having failed to lead the Black Cats to promotion from League One last season, he quickly found himself under pressure at the start of this season.
He was unable to turn it around and Sunderland have made a change. There’s no shame in that, as bigger names than him have struggled at the Stadium of Light.
He has not been out of work long, however, with Hibs giving him the chance to return to Scotland. I’m intrigued to see how he gets on. As well as he did with his two previous jobs in Scotland this will be his first Premiership role and I’m sure I won’t be the only one interested in how he does.
