THAINSTONE, Aberdeen and Northern Marts sold 1,192 store cattle and young bulls. Bullocks (648) averaged 223p to 278.5p per kg for a 368kg Charolais cross from Glebe of Deisher, Boat of Garten and £1,345 for a pen of three 736kg Charolais Crosses from £1,345. Heifers (528) averaged 219.5p to 267.4p per kg for a pen of eight 258kg Aberdeen-Angus from Viewfield, Lochhills and £1,300 for a pair of 570kg Simmental crosses from Shougle, Birnie.

Bulls (16) averaged 200.2p sold to 246.6p per kg for a pen of six 442kg and £1,095 for four 462kg Salers crosses both from Harestone, Crathes.
