Aberdeen take boat race title
Aberdeen University triumphed in the 25th Aberdeen Standard Investments Boat Race.
The 3.5km race along the River Dee was one of the few sporting events to go ahead in the north of Scotland on Saturday with football, rugby and shinty matches all postponed due to the coronavirus crisis.
The Aberdeen University Boat Club finished three seconds ahead of their Robert Gordon University counterparts to defend the title.
AUBC president Katie Sugden said: “I’m thrilled that we retained the title in such an important year for the boat race.”
