Woman taken to hos­pi­tal af­ter col­li­sion

A woman was taken to hos­pi­tal fol­low­ing a twove­hi­cle crash in Aberdeen yes­ter­day.

Po­lice were called to the junc­tion of Hil­ton Road and Hil­ton Drive at around 2.15pm.

Of­fi­cers at the scene blocked off part of the road fol­low­ing the col­li­sion, and one woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal In­fir­mary by am­bu­lance.

It is not known how badly they were hurt.

Later in the af­ter­noon a red car with a crum­pled bon­net could be seen be­ing loaded on to the back of a re­cov­ery truck.

Po­lice say their in­ves­ti­ga­tion into the col­li­sion is on­go­ing.

A spokeswoma­n said: “Around 2.15pm, po­lice re­ceived a re­port of a road crash in­volv­ing two cars on Hil­ton Road. Emer­gency ser­vices at­tended and one woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal In­fir­mary.

“In­quiries are on­go­ing, how­ever the road was re­opened at 4pm.”
