£400k deal for storage tanks

Balmoral Tanks is to supply fire water storage tanks for power transmission projects in Dubai under a deal expected to open up a market potentially worth £200,000 to £400,000.

The business, which is part of diversified Aberdeen company Balmoral Group, will work alongside regional partner Align Electromechanical Works to deliver its new contract for the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority.

It is hoped the work will pave the way for other fire water storage projects at power plants and substations in the region.

Balmoral Tanks serves fire, water, wastewater, anaerobic digestion and processing markets.
