Family of Wick man pays poignant tribute
The family of a man who died following an incident in a Highland town has paid tribute to the “much-loved father and brother”.
Thomas McTeir, 50, died at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness last Tuesday.
He was initially taken to hospital locally following an incident at a property in Barrogill Street in Wick on June 13.
“Tommy was a much-loved father and brother”
His family said yesterday in a statement released through the police: “Tommy was a much-loved father and brother. His loss will be sorely felt by many.
“We would ask that we are given privacy to come to terms with his loss at this time.”
A 60-year-old man appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court on Thursday in connection with his death.
