Broch man hid beneath pile of clothes

-

A Fraserburgh man was found by police hiding beneath a pile of clothes after breaking his bail conditions.

Under the order, 28-year-old Jamie Dingwall was to remain at his parents’ home between 8pm and 6am.

At 12.25am on Thursday, officers visited and were told he was not present.

Fiscal Linzi Souter yesterday told Aberdeen Sheriff Court that he was tracked down on Friday.

She said: “Officers attended to a report of an ongoing disturbance at a different address.

“There, the accused ran from a garden in Academy Road and into another address on Faithlie Street.

“Officers pursued him and when they got into this address they saw him hiding beneath a pile of clothing.”

Sheriff William Sumners fined Dingwall, whose address was given as Greenbank Walk, £110.
