Blue sky thinking to boost ‘Brand Britain’
SIR, – Rather than indulging in any sort of vanity project, Boris Johnson’s decision to refresh the livery on “his” aircraft seems more like a shrewd opportunity to promote “Brand Britain” all over the world and for years to come.
In marketing terms this is great value for money. Compare this with actual vanity projects, such as emblazoning Boris’s face on a helicopter, as people have done in the past. Some of us are still trying to get over Imelda Marcos!
