Rocket science is fun at theatre workshop
to act as scientists. Participants then had a chance to create rockets of their own.
Many guests attended the workshop, which was organised in advance of a showing of the play Rocket Post, which tells the tale of German scientist Gerhard Zucker who wanted to use rockets to deliver the post.
And people jumped at the chance to get involved at Forres Town Hall on Saturday with 24 people at the morning workshop and 12 in the afternoon.
Mrs Gourlay said: “It was great to have so many people there, but we can work with large and small groups. The aim is to bring families together, these days some people don’t even have meals together and everyone is on the phone. We aim to get back to basics and get people playing together.
“We take on the role of rocket scientists leading a conference and let them come up with new ideas.
“We’ve been in Stornoway, Ullapool and Forres, we are in Aboyne on Tuesday, Portsoy on Wednesday then in Aberdeen and then we’re off to more locations in the central belt.”
