TWMA in £5m Apache con­tract

Oil­field ser­vices firm TWMA has con­tin­ued its streak of North Sea con­tract wins by seal­ing a new £5 mil­lion deal with Apache.

TWMA, which is based in Aberdeen, will pro­vide drill cut­tings con­tain­ment and han­dling ser­vices on Apache’s Beryl field over the next three years. It has sup­ported Apache at Beryl since 2013.

The com­pany se­cured con­tracts with Nexen Petroleum, De­ci­pher En­ergy and To­tal ear­lier this year.

TWMA chief com­mer­cial of­fi­cer Gareth Innes said: “As the world’s drilling waste spe­cial­ist, we are com­mit­ted to re­duc­ing en­vi­ron­men­tal im­pact by de­liv­er­ing so­lu­tions which pri­ori­tise safety, cost op­ti­mi­sa­tion and op­er­a­tional ef­fi­ciency.

“With the abil­ity to re-en­gi­neer our tech­nolo­gies to meet spe­cific re­quire­ments, TWMA con­tin­ues to add value to our clients’ op­er­a­tions.

“We are de­lighted to have been se­lected once again by Apache to con­tinue sup­port­ing its drilling op­er­a­tions,” he added.

Formed in 2000, TWMA em­ploys more than 500 peo­ple and has a pres­ence in Europe, the Amer­i­cas, North Africa, West Africa and the Mid­dle East.
