‘Wizzer’ Type 4 still destined for North York Moors

THE move of Class 47 No. 47077 North Star to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (RM April, p80) is still on in principle, but it had not departed Williton when the Covid-19 ‘lockdown’ was introduced on March 23.

A date for the move cannot be set until the Government gives some indication of when heritage railways can reopen.

The Brush Type 4 is seen being brought out of the paint shop at Williton on October 22.
