ROG offers Class 360/2s for hire

HAVING bought all five former Class 360/2 Heathrow Connect EMUs and a quantity of spare parts, Rail Operations Group have now become a leasing company and have offered the units to the open market.

In a social media post,

ROG said the units’ 110mph maximum speed make them ideal to continue passenger workings, or are an ideal base unit for high-speed rail-borne logistics, a potential growth area for rail. Alternatively, ROG would be prepared to sell them on.

Currently the units are in secure store at MoD Bicester.
