CLASS 197 TESTING IN NORTH WALES:
Testing of the first two CAF-built Transport for Wales Class 197 units, Nos. 197001 and 197002, got underway in June on the North Wales Coast and Conwy Valley lines. No. 197002 also ran from Crewe to Chester on June 23. It is pictured at Blaenau Ffestiniog at the southern end of the Conwy Valley route two days later, on June 25.
