Boiler lift for exSwansea Sentinel

Smelting Works Sentinel 4wVBT Swansea Vale No. 1 (9622/1958) had its vertical boiler lifted at Shepherdswell on the East Kent Railway (EKR) on August 3.

The loco, which was previously based on the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway, is owned by an

EKR member and is being restored to run on the 2½mile long line.
