ROUNDEL ON THE WING:

-

In a nod to rock band Pink Floyd and the famous cover of their 1977 album ‘Animals’, which featured a giant inflatable pig floating over the then still in use Battersea Power Station, Transport for London floated a giant inflatable Underground roundel over the building – now converted to business, leisure and residential use – to mark the opening of the Northern Line extension from Kennington.
