Curzon Street restoration

WORK has begun on restoring the Grade I-listed entrance to Birmingham’s former Curzon Street station. The new HS2 station will stand next to the building, which dates from 1838. The building will be strengthened with a steel frame and a lift will be installed. The staircase, windows, facade and masonry will be restored.
