Blackpool depot tours

BLACKPOOL’S Rigby Road depot, home to the town’s heritage tram fleet, is being opened on a weekly basis for guided tours.

The first tour took place on September 25 as part of events to mark the 136th anniversary of Blackpool tramway.

As well as giving information about the history of the trams, visitors will be able to find out plans for the transformation of the site into a heritage centre.
