Peter Briddon loco moves

AMONG locos transported to heritage venues in August by Peter Briddon, was John Payne’s 0-6-0DH River Annan (Ruston & Hornsby 466618 of 1961) from the Elsecar Railway to the Plym Valley Railway on the 9th. This loco was previously a long-time resident of the Avon Valley.

Charlie ,a4wDH(Thos Hill 265V of 1976) was moved from the Briddons’ Darley Dale base to the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway on the 2nd. No. RS8, the 1959 ICI Tunstead rebuild of an Avonside steam loco was a vehicle-mounted exhibit at the Cromford Steam Rally on July 31-August 1.
