Staycation Express back for half-term trips

AFTER a busy summer running the ‘Staycation Express’ HST train over the Settle & Carlisle line, Rail Charter Services says it will be back for a week and running during the half-term school break between October 23-30.

Using the same dedicated 2+5 HST set in British Racing green livery, the timing of the trains will be the same as the summer programme: 09.40 Appleby-Skipton; 11.18 SkiptonCarlisle; 15.09 Carlisle-Skipton; and 17.18 Skipton-Appleby.

One amendment to how the summer trains were booked is that all fares will be sold as single journeys starting from £14.50. This will allow greater flexibility for the travel plans of passengers. Details of the trains and online booking at railcharterservices.info
