Cononley crossing reopens

A FOOTPATH at Cononley, between Skipton and Keighley, which was closed in December 2020 over concerns users did not have adequate warning of oncoming trains, has reopened. Network Rail contractors have removed trees and vegetation to improve visibility. There had also been concerns the horn on the LNER Azumas was inaudible, another reason cited for the temporary closure.
