Barmouth viaduct closed for three months

FURTHER work on a £30m restoration project to Barmouth’s 731m long Grade II* listed viaduct restarted on September 12, and will continue until December 12.

For this period, there will be no trains, and the bridge’s public walkway to Morfa Mawddach will also be closed. During

2022 the metallic spans of the viaduct and associated track will be replaced.
