More work on Anglian bridges

ON every Sunday during October, Network Rail contractors Taziker will be replacing more wheel timbers on bridges between Ely and Peterborough, near Manea. New technology has permitted a better understanding of the internal condition of the bridge timbers, and 115 timbers on the four bridges will be replaced. The task started in September and is a continuation of work which took place at the end of 2020.
