GBRf namings

GB Railfreight Class 73, No. 73965 was named Des O’Brien on September 2, at London Victoria, prior to departing on the rear of GBRf’s ‘This Time It’s Personal’ railtour, which raised funds for Prostate Cancer UK. Mr O’Brien, who worked for GBRf, died from cancer in 2018. Leading the train was Class 66, No. 66769, given the dual names League Managers Association/Paul Taylor Our Inspiration on August 12. Mr Taylor, a staff member who was diagnosed himself with prostate cancer, planned the four-day railtour.
