Although Covid-19 restrictions have been eased, organisers have reluctantly decided that the popular Warley National Model Railway Exhibition will not run in 2021. It was a unanimous decision by the team due to the ongoing risks and uncertainties which still surround everyday life. Despite the news of a second year without a show, members of the team have already booked for next year and the show is expected to take place at its regular venue – the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, on November 26/27, 2022. Visit www.thewarleyshow.co.uk for more details. Also cancelled is the Manchester Model Railway Society show scheduled for December 11/12. After exploring all possible ways to stage the annual exhibition in a way that is safe for visitors, exhibitors and traders, the decision was taken to push the show back a year. This would have been the 83rd show but has now been rescheduled for December 10/11, 2022 at the Sugden Centre, M1 7HL, a new and spacious venue in central Manchester. The organisation’s exhibition on October 9/10 is set to go ahead at the Alderwood Leisure Centre, Aldershot. Visit www.farnhammrc.org.uk
