AUCTION WINNER COLLECTS PRIZE:
The winner of the sealed bid auction to buy a unique bit of modern railwayana, a driver’s seat from Class 442 No. 442419, visited Wolverton Works on November 2 to receive the seat from Gemini Rail Group manager Joe Fairclough – who is seen on the left at the handover to winner Antony Yandell. Fleet owners Angel Trains and former operator SWR made the seat available to raise money for the Railway Benefit Fund.
