Target for more BAME employees

NETWORK Rail is aiming to increase the number of Black, Asian and minority ethnic employees as part of creating a more inclusive and diverse workforce, and is aiming for 13% of employees to be in that category by the end of the current Control Period in 2024. ASLEF figures show just 10% of train drivers in England, Scotland and Wales are from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds.
