Giants join together

AGREEMENT has been reached for National Express Group (NEG) to purchase Stagecoach Group. NEG and Stagecoach will seek approvals for the combination from its shareholders and the UK Competition and Markets Authority, meaning that completion of the deal is not expected until the end of 2022.
