Construction skills centre
PLANS for construction site accommodation for HS2 in Camden, which will incorporate a construction skills centre, have taken a step forward.
The original plans for the centre, to be run by Camden Council in the grounds of the former Maria Fidelis School, have been amended to allow for a temporary modular building which will be used during building of the HS2 station at Euston.
The council’s planning committee has resolved to grant planning permission for the new configuration which could be used by up 2500 workers and 150 students on a daily basis.
