Conductor bars replaced at Seaton
OVERHEAD conductor bars at Seaton station on the Seaton Tramway have been replaced.
The new ones are made of brass and are expected to last longer and be more conducive to their environment than the aluminium examples which were previously in place.
Completed in November by the tramway’s engineering team, power was isolated from the station to allow for the old bars to be removed and carefully lowered to ground level before work began on lifting the new ones into place and reconnecting the electricity supply.
