■ WITH reference to Steam Portfolio in the January issue, there is a picture of the Mid-Hants railway. It states the photo is pictured at Bowers GREEN Lane, but it should be Bowers GROVE Lane at Ropley.

■ PANORAMA (January issue) refers to Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 as a cruise ship. This is not quite correct, she is an ocean liner – in fact, the only one in the world.

Her main sphere of operation is trips between Europe and the USA, although she does do some cruises – including a world cruise between January and April each year.
