Bluebell goes limited

THE Bluebell Railway Preservation Society became a Company Limited by Guarantee on January 1. The decision to transition from an unincorporated association was approved at the Society’s EGM in October. The society’s name remains the same as it has been granted exemption from using ‘Limited’, so it appears on the Companies House website as Bluebell Railway Preservation Society, company No. 13745313, registered in England. All the officers and trustees are now directors of the company but will continue to be called trustees.
