Home straight for Spa Valley’s Lady Ingrid

THE Spa Valley Railway’s Andrew Barclay 0-4-0ST Lady Ingrid (2315/1951) is once again looking like a steam locomotive, after having the boiler returned to the frames at Tonbridge Wells West.

The overhauled boiler passed its steam test in early November (The RM, December 2021), and since then the boiler (complete with ashpan) has been lifted into the frames and the tank and cab refitted.
