Five work Bo’ness gala

Railway’s Winter Diesel Running Day on December 29 featured five locos in action, although attendance was limited to 200 due to the Scottish Government’s Covid regulations at the time.

Trains ran hourly from Bo’ness between 09.30 and 16.30 using locos Nos. 27001, 37403 (its first passenger run on the railway following an extensive restoration), 37703 (one of the DRS locos currently up for sale), 47643, and guest loco No. 66773 working its first ever passenger service.
