Following the report last issue that Class 14 No. D9500 had left Andrew Biddon’s Darley

Dale base (Peak Rail) after being sold to an undisclosed buyer, the ‘Teddy Bear’ has been spotted within a private facility on a trading estate at Port Elphinstone, near Inverurie, alongside the Aberdeen to Inverness railway line. The loco is reported as arriving in November and is currently stored in the open – with this shot taken from a passing train on January 11.
