Delay for Beam Park

A DECISION that the Department for Transport would not support a new station at Beam Park, Dagenham (on the site of a Ford plant), has suspended plans for thousands of new homes and led to Havering Council dropping compulsory purchase order plans it was proposing to use. Promoters are now deciding how best to proceed.
