New Czech double-deckers begin to enter service

CZECH Railways České dráhy (ČD) has introduced the first of five new three-coach double-deck push-pull sets it has ordered from Škoda for use on the mostly unelectrified regional line from Ostrava to Frýdlant nad Ostravicí and Frenštát pod Radhoštěm. The trains will be powered by rebuilt Class 750.7 diesel locos although they are also designed for use with electric locos.
