LAST month’s photo by Rod Orr (left) showed 4TC driving vehicles Nos. 76301 and 76302 (from set No. 417/8017) at the former Bellingham station in Northumberland, which until recently were in use as The Carriages Tearoom.
Although looking like a Southern Region EMU (as we incorrectly described them last month), these vehicles were in fact unpowered sets designed to work with EMUs and locomotives (see also page 38).
