BRITANNIA PREPARES FOR MAIN LINE RETURN:

After testing on the Severn Valley Railway at the start of February, BR Pacific No. 70000 Britannia returned to Crewe on February 16 and the following day ran a loaded trial to Chester, Shrewsbury and back to Crewe – which is pictured near Beeston Castle, Cheshire, top-and-tail with diesel No. 37688 Great Rocks.
