Lifts deal reached

A FRAMEWORK agreement to deliver more than 160 lifts and 130 escalators for HS2’s stations at Birmingham Curzon Street, Interchange (Solihull), Old Oak Common and Euston has been reached with supplier TK Elevator.

The exact number required will be determined when the station designs are finalised, but the deal is expected to be worth between £207 million and £316 million and will cover manufacture, installation and maintenance for up to 20 years.
