TOYOTA TEST RUN:

Ahead of an official launch which took place on February 22, DB Cargo operated trial workings carrying Toyota vehicles. It follows a £2.6 million investment at the freight operator’s Toton site to handle exports and imports for the car manufacturer. Hybrid Toyota Corollas (built at Burnaston in Derbyshire) will be transported on the outward leg, bound for mainland Europe, while the return journey to Nottinghamshire will carry Aygo, Yaris and Yaris+ vehicles for the UK market.
