YOUNG PHOTOGRAPHERS RECEIVE THEIR AWARDS
WINNERS in the Young Railway Photographer Of The Year competition (see last issue) were awarded their prizes in an event held at the National Railway Museum in York on February 24.
Organised by the Railway Photographic Society, which is now in its 100th year (see next page), the winners were given their prizes by Network Rail chairman Sir Peter Hendy. The top prize in the 19-25s category (and also the overall winner) was Bradley Langton, while the under 19s category was won by Sean Mattocks.
Gwion Clark received the RPS Special Award for his artistic interpretations of railway subjects, while Judges’ Pick prizes went to Chris Ainscough; Leo Fleming; Shane Gopal; Matthew Howe; Henry Pinkney; and Maud Webster.
