Main line Class 31 for Swanage gala

RICHARD Goodyear’s Class 31, No. 31128 Charybdis, which is main line registered, has been booked for the May 5-8 Swanage diesel gala (RM March p10). It is capable of bringing other visitors to the event in convoy. Other performers now confirmed for the gala include Class 46 No. D182 (46 045) from the Midland Railway-Butterley, Class 25 No. D7612 (25262) from the South Devon Railway and resident Class 33s Nos. 33111 + 33012.
