Rushden to run a ‘Pacer’ service

THE Rushden, Higham & Wellingborough Railway, Northamptonshire, only runs passenger trains on selected days, and is using ‘Pacer’ No. 142084 during these family events.

Trains depart from Rushden station at 10.45, 11.30, 12.15, 13.00, 13.45, 14.30, 15.15 and 16.00. All are subject to short-notice alteration based on passenger demand and operational requirements. At the time of writing, running days included April 17/18 Easter Bunny Express and June 25 Armed Forces’ Day.

Passenger rides comprise two return journeys on the half-mile between Rushden and the end of the line at Prospect Avenue, and take about 15 minutes.

Set No. 142091 is also based on the railway but has yet to enter service.
