Revised route for InterCity tour

AN amendment to the return routing of InterCity’s ‘Scarborough Spa Rambler’ on August 29, now provides the inclusion of a rather unusual line for loco hauled travel – from Castleford to Pontefract Monkhill. The amended return route for the Class 20-hauled train is now Scarborough, York, Church Fenton, Milford Jn, Castleford, Cutsyke Junction, Glasshoughton, Pontefract, Monkhill, Knottingley

West Junction, Knottingley South Junction, Askern, Shaftholme Junction, Doncaster, Mexborough Junction, Aldwarke Junction, Masborough Junction, Beighton Junction and Chesterfield to Derby.
