East Midlands Freeport incentives

INCENTIVES are to be offered for businesses investing in parts of the East Midlands Freeport area.

The Freeport includes the East Midlands Intermodal Park, a Strategic Rail Freight Interchange planned for a site close to the Toyota car manufacturing plant at Burnaston near Derby, as well as East Midlands Airport and Gateway Industrial Cluster and the Ratcliffe-on-Soar Power Station Redevelopment Site.

Relief on Business Rates, Stamp Duty Land Tax, Employer National Insurance Contributions, Enhanced Building Allowance and Enhanced Capital Allowances are among the benefits companies could be eligible for.
