Final Dudley Interchange plan submitted

-

FINAL plans for a new interchange which will provide a link between tram and bus services in Dudley have been submitted for council approval. The £24 million development, which will use the site of the current bus station, is aimed at improving local access to public transport across the West Midlands, as well as helping to regenerate the area. A 300 metre stretch of track was laid at Castle Hill in February, the first section of tram track to be put in place in Dudley town centre, as part of the Wednesbury-Brierley Hill extension of the West Midlands Metro.
