New show announced for Statfold

APRIL 9/10 will see a new event for Statfold Narrow Gauge Museum, when it holds its first-ever model railway exhibition, with the aim of turning it into a yearly event that will grow and grow. The show will take over the entire Statfold site, open from 09.3017.00 on Saturday and 09.30-16.00 on Sunday, with around 30 layouts covering a variety of eras and gauges. Visitors can also enjoy unlimited train rides, with six locomotives in steam plus the Burton & Ashby tram. The popular ‘Driver for a Fiver’ will be available to take a short turn driving a steam locomotive (although age restrictions apply).
